Updates: H1N1 Cases in Taiwan

CASE 10: A 26-year-old Taiwanese male who had a travel history to China and Hong Kong. It was suspected to be the first imported case from China or Hong Kong. He traveled in China’s southwestern province of Guizhou from May 13 to 22 and returned to Taiwan via Hong Kong last Friday. After arriving at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport early Saturday, he went for a computer training course on Sunday, followed by a symptom of high fever emerging the next day.

Taiwan’s health alert still stays at phase three of the yellow alert for no recorded community infection. Among the ten confirmed cases, case one, two, and five have been discharged from the hospital as the other seven patients are recovering.

Thanks! Actually cases yang dilaporkan tidak terlalu serius dan bersifat "remote". But it is common here that many people wear masks. In our office, the awareness alert has been increased among the staffs, and we have the crisis management SOP on the outbreak of such epidemic, learning from previous SARS outbreak...
